UES (INT'L) Pty Ltd respects the privacy of the people with whom we deal - be they customers, business partners, investors or staff. We are committed to ensuring that all personal information is managed correctly by us. Your privacy is important to us. The UES Privacy Policy applies to all trading divisions of UES (INT'L) PTY LTD including TecnoSeat.

Your Responsibility
You hereby undertake the following responsibilities.

We do this by:

  • Advising you when we collect personal information, what we use this information for and to whom we may disclose it.
  • Providing you with a written copy of our Privacy Policy upon request
  • Providing you with access to this personal information when you ask for it, subject to any exception as set out in the National Privacy Principles.
  • Why we collect personal information
    UES (INT'L) Pty Ltd generally collects personal information in the normal course of our business activities, to provide customers with a high and efficient level of service.

    We collect information that includes:

  • Name, address, telephone, fax, email addresses and other relevant contact information in relation to the service we provide.
  • We may collect information relating to bank account details, credit card numbers, drivers licence details, dates of birth, in relation to payments to our company.
  • We may also collect information relating to name, contact details, sex, age, health information, dates of birth, qualifications and other information about prospective and current employees and or contractors.
  • Sensitive Information
    The information we collect will not contain what is regarded as sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1988. Unless you have expressly consented to such collection, information such as racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs or political opinions will not be collected.

    Collection of Personal Information
    We will only collect personal information that is necessary, and wherever it is reasonable and practicable to do so. Prior to collecting the relevant information, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are aware of the purpose or purposes of that collection and the extent to which we may use the information collected. You do not need to give us personal information, however there may be circumstances that prevent us from providing adequate assistance if you do not. We will advise you at the time if this is the case.

    Use and Disclosure
    The personal information we collect from you will only be used or disclosed for the express purpose for which it was collected unless:

  • You have expressly consented, or implied consent, to its further use or disclosure:
  • You would reasonably expect us to use it or to disclose it in a certain way; or
  • We are compelled or required by law to disclose such information as permitted in the National Privacy Principle 2.
  • We do not sell or disclose the personal information that we collect from you or hold for you, to any other person or organization, for the purpose of direct marketing.

    Management Quality and Security
    UES (INT'L) Pty Ltd keeps personal information in both electronic and paper based records. Paper records are kept securely on the premises of each office of UES (INT'L) Pty Ltd, and away from the general public. Our electronic records are kept secure in a system with password protection and with access restricted to some internal and external sources. Internally we restrict access to personal information, to staff whose functions reasonably require them for their day to day work processing activities.

    We will make every reasonable effort to ensure the security of the personal information we hold for you. We will always try to ensure that the personal information collected from you, and that is disclosed and used, is accurate and complete. We will destroy or de-identify personal information when it is no longer required.

    Transborder flow of Personal Information
    UES (INT'L) Pty Ltd has access to a number of different companies in countries worldwide. In certain limited circumstances, we may provide some of your personal information to theses companies. We will only do so:

  • If the overseas country has effective minimum standards similar to the National Privacy Principles
  • If you have consented to the disclosure of your information by us (and we will advise you of the nature of the information we are disclosing)
  • If it is impractical for us to obtain your consent, and the disclosure is for the benefit of you or your organization
  • If the disclosure or transfer is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract and is in the interest of you or your organization and the third party.
  • Access and Amendments of Personal Information
    Prior to providing access of your personal information, or to make amendments to this information, we may require suitable proof of identity. Depending on the nature of your request for amendments, we may agree or disagree to make these amendments, however we will provide you with reasons for our decision if we do not agree to make amendments.

  • Wish to notify us of any changes, modifications or corrections;
  • Require access to any of the personal information we hold on you;
  • Would like us to remove any personal information from our records.
